Position: Commercial Equipment Packaging & Crating Specialist

Department: Warehouse, Logistics & Packaging
Location: AsiaResto Supplies HQ
Role Overview: As our Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for the secure packing, custom crating, and structural bracing of heavy kitchen appliances, delicate electronics, and industrial food machinery. Your primary focus is ensuring that every item is perfectly protected against international freight shocks, moisture, and rough handling, meeting our strict zero-damage shipping standards before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and assemble custom wooden crates, pallets, and heavy-duty boxes tailored to the specific dimensions and weight of commercial kitchen machinery.
• Apply advanced industrial packaging techniques, including vacuum sealing, anti-rust wrapping, shock-absorbing foam placement, and secure strapping.
• Inspect finished products and physical orders against picking lists to guarantee all components, accessories, and manuals are included before final sealing.
• Operate warehouse equipment, pneumatic staple guns, power saws, and strapping tools safely while maintaining a clean, organized workstation.
• Verify international shipping labels, fragile markings, and customs documentation match the package specifications perfectly.

Technical Specifications & Requirements

Education: Minimum Vocational High School (SMK) or High School equivalent, preferably with a background in carpentry, industrial packaging, or warehouse logistics.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in industrial crating, heavy cargo packaging, or export-level warehouse shipping operations.
Skills: Proficient with hand and power tools, measuring tapes, and calculating box dimensions or weight distributions for cargo stability.
Knowledge: Good understanding of international shipping packaging regulations, ISPM 15 wood treatment standards, and fragile item handling guidelines.
Traits: Highly meticulous, physically fit to handle warehouse tasks, disciplined, and possessing a strong commitment to quality control.
