This Wells 5P-MDW400 4 pan top-mount food well is the perfect way to set up a buffet line that makes your food look and taste great, while also providing hassle-free maintenance and installation! This unit is specifically designed to only operate dry, giving it an edge over similar wells that can operate wet or dry but only give best performance when they’re run wet. This dry operation gives several key benefits – since it doesn’t use water it won’t increase your water bill, and you don’t have to go through the hassle of manually removing water from the wells or installing a drain / auto-fill hookup. This also removes all of the corrosion, scale, and sanitation issues associated with wet wells, letting you and your staff focus on serving customers instead of maintaining the buffet equipment. And when maintenance is needed, you can access all of the internal components from the top for easier, faster service calls.

This unit is made from corrosion-resistant type 430 stainless steel, and a tubular heating element design provides superior performance. It has (4) 12″ x 20″ wells that can each hold a full size pan up to 6″ deep, or an equivalent number of fractional pans. An infinite control for each well lets you easily adjust the temperature settings independently, and the Wellslok turn-out tab system makes it easy to install this unit and lock it in place. It can be installed in metal counters up to 1/4″ thick (other countertops may be compatible with additional hardware) and it requires a 208/240V 3 phase electrical connection. It must be hard-wired, a cord and plug are not included.
