The ideal choice for restaurants, cafeterias, or healthcare operations, the Cleveland PEM-24-2 electric 2 compartment steam generator is sure to increase your kitchen’s efficiency! This steamer has 2 compartments each capable of holding up to (8) 12″ x 20″ x 2 1/2″ cafeteria pans, or (4) 18″ x 26″ bun pans. Each steaming chamber has its own individual mechanical style timer with audible signal as well as a pressure gauge to display the current operating pressure.

A modular cabinet base provides extra storage space below the steaming chambers. The electric steam generator operates at high efficiency and includes an automatic water fill upon start-up. Featuring an automatic steam generator blowdown, including a manual drain valve, there is much more room for intermittent control. The generator is also equipped with a high-limit safety switch and safety valve. For a more synchronous performance, the steam inlet valves and the exhaust valves are interlocked.

The external enclosure, cooking compartments, and table top are all constructed of a heavy duty type 430 stainless steel. Each compartment door is free floating and constructed of heavy duty, cast aluminum. Plus, the hinges have adjustable hinge pins and self-lubricating bushings to reduce the friction causes by repeated opening and closing of the doors. The slide racks and door gaskets in the compartments are easily removable without the use of tools, making for simpler cleaning and maintenance. Four 6″ adjustable flanged legs provide enough ground clearance to allow for proper cleaning underneath of the steamer. A 1/4″ NPT water supply, and 440/480V electrical connection are both required for the operation of this unit.
